Cooper (non S) Modifications specific to the MINI Cooper (R50).

Lowering problems ?

Lowering problems ?

I'm considering getting lowering springs for my mini but when I was looking to see how low I can probably go I realized that my wheel is under my strut, my wheel size is 16x8 would I have to get a smaller wheel , get coil overs, or this won't effect anything if I put on lowering springs

Lowering springs wont change the clearance between the strut & the wheel.
They move both of them up.....the clearance remains the same.

Thanks man, I just wanted to make sure before I buy springs and waste money
