just some new lights

bit of showing here. finally have time to work on my mini and so I did the first bit of light mods I've wanted to do for a while now. they're in the lower grille (two strips of white leds) and two strips as puddle lights on the doors ( my 2003 did not previously have them of course). and I did the led door handle mod. im happy. horribly photographed pictures with an iphone though.

during the process of modding the lights, yes it was a toughy. mostly because I am useless when it comes to tools and I had to learn all about voltage and resisters etc etc for the LEDs, also never having soldered anything before in my life. but upon reflection, yes its a pretty 'easy' thing to do, if you know what your doing, which I didnt. I did follow the mod instructions on the handle mod forum but it took lots of learning as I go. ex: drilling my door because my handle's allen screws did not line up with the holes in the doors that align properly for allen key access.
