Aftermarket intake manifold

Do you know if anyone makes a better intake manifold for the MC, and if so who?

That loks wicked but isn't it with individual throttle bodies? I was actually searching for something on the style of the OEM piece but better designed and possibly a bit larger to allow more air into the engine, without going to the ITBs.

That car is an S though, would that intake manifold fit a Non-S Cooper?

It can be made with the plenum above or below the runners just give him a call...

I think porting the standard item is not possible, because it is plastic.

Those long runners & plenum on the OEM intake are probably helping the low-mid range power. I could see short runners on a high revving N/A race engine.
Coating to reduce temps sounds interesting. Do the plastic runners get hot enough to effect the incoming air density?
