Has anyone tried this new kind of plug?

Has anyone heard of Pulstar? They claim to have come up with a new kind of spark plug called a glow plug. Some of their claims sound too good to be true:
- 11 extra horses in a Nissan 350Z
- average increase of 6% in fuel economy
This is what their website said: "Pulse plugs feature a unique capacitor-based circuit that captures energy normally wasted by spark plugs and generates a spark with 10 times greater energy than any spark plug."

Is this another get-rich quick idea like the electron splitting doohickey that claims to increase your gas mileage?

Too many plugs claim the same thing. Haven't seen one delivered on the promis yet.

Note, however, changing to a new set of plugs of any kind/brand will likely result in improvements. That's just because you replacing old / worn plugs, not because the new one gives your car super power.
