mods for mini clubman (non-s)

What modifications would you recommend for a mini cooper clubman? As of now the car is completely stock, except for 35 percent tinted windows. trying to make it less "cute" and what some have said " girly" lol gotta love your friends. just to be clear im not doing his b/c of how they joke, i already planned on modifying the car when ordering.

I was just interested in any other mods i can perform on the car.

currently looking at or have at: 1) black grille JCW to replace chrome grille (considering replacing the chrome trim around the grille to the black) 2) thought about lowering the car but i dont want to go too low, maybe half inch ( dropped 99 camaro SS by an inch and made it annoying to drive around city) 3) Have ordered and received 5 spoke pace rims from mini, will go on car on later date 4) black out kits (need more info on them)

any other suggestions would be much appreciated

People will probably chime in and say black wheels and blacking out the chrome will make it less girly....but the truth is that it will always look cute in the eyes of some people. That comes naturally with the big round headlights, small size, and curvaceous exterior styling. Trying to make it look mean is like trying to make a cute puppy dog look vicious

You can drop the car up to 1.5" without making the drive too annoying. The R55 has the ground clearance of a small SUV and it looks silly at the stock ride height. Springs or coilovers would be my first mod. The company and drop is a personal opinion though.

What are you trying to get out of the car? That will determine what your other options are.
