Hood Scoop???

I was wondering if I could buy a Cooper S hood scoop and have the hood on my 2008 Cooper (non-S) R56 cut to fit it. I think it's a pretty bad idea to have someone cut open my hood, so I'm not sure if I would ever do it, but I want to know if it's possible. Also, does anyone know if the Cooper S hood would fit on a regular Cooper?

I really like the look of the subtle hood scoop on the S and I want it on my Cooper. I would obviously rather just buy a Cooper S hood than try to cut my own hood, but I just want to know what my options are.

If anyone has any info on it please let me know!

By the time you pay for all the body work to make the scoop fit you will probably be close to the cost of buyin the whole S hood, and yes the hoods are interchangeable.

By the time you spend all that money, you could've MOD, the grill, sport stripes, or suspension, or exhaust.

If you want the look of an "S", you should've bought an "S".

Well yeah, I most likely won't do it. I was just wondering what my options are if I randomly happen to come across a bunch of extra money. I think I'm going to trade my car in for a JCW in a few years.
