pics of engine requested

hello all mc owners im a mcs owner and was looking at my intke and thought how does the cooper intake look my intake goes to the turbo to the intercooler then finnaly reaches the engine does the cooper intake go straight to the engine?

No, it travels through acres of plastic baffles first. The cold air intake is in the same place, and that's about it. There's a big plastic box beside the engine, then another one behind, and the air finally gets to the engine diagonally opposite where it entered the engine bay.
When you take away all the plastic, suddenly the engine bay looks rather empty!

I don't have any, but the instructions for fitting the K&N replacement filter have a series of pictures of all the plastic and what it looks like with just the new filter and air intake fitted. Take a look here:
