Splitfire platinums any good?

I've used Splitfire plugs before and that was when they first came out. Was never impressed by them and switched to trusty Bosch platinums. Have never looked back until now. I was wondering if anyone has tried them in a Mini. Do they make any difference? There are two versions: copper and platinum. At one time, they even had one with FOUR electrodes! I didn't buy into the advertising as I'm sure someone would have tried that setup years ago. So, has anyone used this brand? Does it help or is it a waste of money? I also noticed on this msg board that nobody seems to use Bosch or Autolite. Is there something bad about those? Why do a vast majority lean towards NGK?

Bottom line is NGK makes the best long lasting plug and yes I have used the Splitfires and noticed hesitation and lack of power.
