Megan 4-1 Header

I am about to purchase this header...

Does it do any good for my specs and I drive the car daily....so I would like to know if this thing will blow my ears or not... ?

Many thanks in advance!

It should get louder than it is now. But should also be fine for daily driving.

You might want to put this in the R53 forum though.

Mixed feelings to be honest.
On the one hand, that is the lowest price I've seen for a header.
On the other, I've heard many good stories and many bad stories about this part.

I'm gonna wait and see ...

Kind regards

Der Abt

Main thing I would say is to make sure your motor and Exhaust mounts are tight. The flex joint of the header has been know to break from to much movement in these areas.

Does anyone know how the Megan compares to an OBX or Milltek header?

Had a muffler shop cut the cat off my stock header and weld it onto the OBX. It fits perfect and has no leaks unlike the Megan I had. It's doesn't make the exhaust too much louder; only at WOT.
