Cold Start Issues ? Only R56S ?

Hi :
I see that some owners of the R56-S are experiencing a cold start issue where their engine sounds like a diesel engine for 1 or 2 minutes when the engine first starts in the morning.
Curious to know if this is just a R56-S issue, or are R56 owners also experiencing this problem .

Mine is fine, even when the temp down here in Florida goes down to ~40Deg occasionally.

If I had a second generation MCS, this would be of interest: http://www.motoringfile.com/2008/02/...issue-exposed/

From what I can tell it's an MCS issue.

I have yet to see a non-MCS with a complaint of the cold start issue, even the people over on the Mini2 boards have noted that all of them are MCSs.
