c3 & Hurricane Katrina

We are collecting monetary donations for the Red Cross for all victims of Hurricane Katrina. I'm sure you are all aware of the devastation suffered by our friends in New Orleans, and surrounding areas. I spent a part of my road trip, when I picked up my MINI two years ago in the French Quarter and some of my fondest memories were the people I met there, and it's incredibly disheartening to see what it looks like today.

See the latest news here on Yahoo News.

We are accepting donations via PayPal or checks made out to Cooper Club for Charities.

It's also been suggested that we donate the $118 we raised from our Julian run last weekend which was originally earmarked for a childrens donation, to be donated to the victims of Katrina instead. If anyone disagrees, please feel free to email me about this as the decision has not yet been made.

Thank you for contributing anything you can spare. I will keep a tally of the amount of money raised for everyone to see on the link above.

Best regards,

Richard
