May 21st MINI Car Show in Los Angeles

c3 is holding a MINI Car show on May 21st for a K - 5 school. Anyone with a MINI or Mini is invited. Judging will be held by children in various categories. More details will be announced as we hammer them down. I just wanted to get the word out.

The approximate location will be near PV (Palos Verdes). The current plan will be to meet at c3 HQ's in Culver City, do a quick wash/clean up, then head down as a caravan to the school.

Please email me (nam@c3club.org) if you're interested in entering the contest or even volunteering. Real prizes will be awarded to the winners!

We'd love to get 40 to 50 MINI's (or Mini's) involved!

Well you can count me in too. I especially like the idea of caravaning down there together - let our presence be known! I also see you have a definate location posted on your website so that's good. I'll keep checking back for specifics on times and whatnot.

Great to hear Penelope!! My hope is that we can arrive in parade fashion as an endless line of MINI's and Mini's!

Also I forgot to mention, the carnival theme are the 70's!! So interpret that as you wish!

We're still looking for more people interested in hanging out with a bunch of MINI owners for a good cause, not to mention a fun day. There will be an entry fee of between $10 - $15 per car--hasn't been finalized yet, but it's my understanding that will include food.

While we are calling this a "car show", it's much less of a car show, than it is a MINI/Mini hang out for the kids while we get fed!!

I'm trying to get m7 and some other local vendors near Lakewood to come out and join us.

Oh definitely the event is still on! Would love to see you there. And if you got time this weekend, I'm doing a prep party at my house this Sunday.

You can have your car detailed, help detail someone elses or just hang out with other MINI's.

That's cool! Hmmm, I'll have to note that--USMC0341's daughter can't be a judge.

All you need to do is show up. We'll be meeting in front of the school at 9AM on that Saturday. They want us in the school and ready to go by 10AM. $10 per car entry.

This isn't meant to be a serious judging car show--it's a fun day to interact with the kids with MINI's and Mini's in 70's attire. Hmm, still gotta figure out what to wear--I tossed out all my old 70's clothing years ago!

We're cleaning our cars this Sunday at my house from 10AM to 4PM--you're welcome to join us!

Ok here are the final details. Well almost final. I will be meeting with my school contact tomorrow morning and will report any further changes then.

This is MOALA's official monthly meeting place and it's just a short distance from the school. This will be our staging area so we can arrive all at once.
