took a drive up to Marysville today which was hit by the worst bushfires in history back in feb... took a couple of shots, these are from Buxton.. this particular spot wasn't too badly hit but thought it looked like a nice spot to stop.
Just ordered a Milltek exhaust, can't wait till it gets installed ! Also thinking about an ECU upgrade which will take it to the same specs as a JCW.. from 129 to 150kw. Undecided as yet ...
As I said elsewhere - love the Clubman with the LB roof - and the stripes are perfect!

Love mine!!! I went in for an oil change with my LB MCS and rolled out with the showroom model that looked just like my old one except just a touch longer! Have loved it ever since!

I just ordered the last allotted 2008 in Albuquerque about five hours ago. After going back and forth, I decided on the lightning blue with the Convenience and Sport Package. I added the Anthracite headliner as well. Does anyone else have the "Comfort Bluetooth"? Is the USB in the armrest?

first time Mini owner :-) picked it up yesterday. Cooper S Clubman Chilli in lightning blue/silver & 17" webspokes. So far loving it but i'm still in honeymoon so we'll see how it goes!!

a few more days and i'll add some shots. my dealer messed up the stripes on delivery, but that should be fixed tomorrow.
2008 S : Lightning Blue with silver roof and trim, manual transmission, matching blue dash and door trim, brushed aluminum, ipod / bluetooth hook-up, sunroof, clear bra, and soon to be custom viper-ish stripes.
just ordered my clubman on 8/31/08. lightning blue with black top, mirrors, and c-pillar... no strips (think they take away from the curves of the hood). decided to go with a manual for fuel economy reasons. My sales rep told me it should be in around November (not sure how accurate that is). Now im just checking out all the accessories for the car
Count me in as well. Mine is going to be born on Sep 6th and on the boat some time next week. MA promised delivery some time in the next 5-6 weeks. CAN"T WAIT!!!

I love it. I had the choice of sparkling silver and the blue, and i'm so glad i went with blue. The sparkling silver is awesome, but i'm only 31 and the sparkling silver kinda looks a bit more "classy" rather than "funky". Both great, just different great. Maybe when i change cars in a few years i'll get the silver but until then, i really love the blue. I also preferred it over a darker colour due to the visability factor - ie other drivers seeing me.
The back of the car looks a little odd in photo's, but it's odd in all colour combinations really. In person it's actually not that bad, and i don't mind it at all. Personally i'd like to see what they'd look like with the rear pillars/bumper in body colour rather than roof colour. But alas it's all good.
I think i'm still in honeymoon after a month.. i'm still finding excuses to go for a drive, even if it's to the shops for something i dont really need (and even then it's the "very long way" to the shops LOL)
Had a couple of minor issues with the club door - the latch stopped working (known faulty batch, got replaced) and the window seal popped out. All fixed no problem. Other than that all good.
The only thing i'm disappointed in is the upgraded stereo. It's pure garbage for a stereo that has an "amp" driving it. Oh well, i'll live with it until i can be bothered doing something about it.
Ahhhhh, I was six weeks into my MC lightning blue order when I decided to order a MCS lightning blue. Looks like I will have to wait another 8-10 weeks!

I bought the last Lightning Blue available at Baron MINI in Kansas City. It had been sitting on the lot for quite a while so we got a great deal. We picked it up June 6 and have been very happy with it. I have a Hyper Blue '05 MCS so this matches quite well. Now it just needs stripes, intake, wheels, and the never ending list of stuff to make it even more fun!
