Who to talk to at Classic Mini?

Hello!

I tried searching but "Classic Mini" brings up a TON of results. I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations as to who to talk to when purchasing a Mini. Any direction would be great. THANKS!

Unfortunately Julie Saxa is no longer there, but I believe her replacement is doing a good job. His name is Mike Kost. He's done a fine job so far. And I have 2 excellent previous MAs to compare him to.

Good Luck!

Another vote for Mike Kost. Julie was my MA but left the dealership before I took delivery. Mike helped me out until I took my MCS home.

Send your congratulations to Mike Kost. He's my MA, but I won't get to meet him. The day I get there to collect my MINI he will be off because he's getting married on 5/6/2006.

CONGRATULATIONS MIKE AND MRS!!

Talks before he has all the facts.........

Wish I had good things to say about Mike, but he played the old General Manager trick on me! I've been on the Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works GP Kit waiting list for over 9 months (was #3 then moved to #2 when #1 dropped off the list). Talked to him on Wednesday about getting the chance to take early delivery on my GP at one of the two Mini Takes The States events. Told me I could get the car at MSRP plus the cost of the event ($2000 for Monterey and $800 for Jersey City).

I told him I would take the New Jersey delivery but told him before I gave my non-refundable payment for the Ownership Ceremony I needed a contract with the price on it (so they wouldn't change the price on my later knowing I had already committed to the Ownership event).

Well wouldn't you know, they came back and told me I couldn't get MSRP but had to pay $1200 above MSRP to get the car per the General Manager . Good thing I asked for a contract. Those guys at Classic are slippery!!!

Hey Guys this is Mike Kost from Classic MINI here

I'm glad to see that everybody is very happy with choosing Classic MINI to be their MINI headquarters! Unfortunately, every once in a while there are misunderstandings. But, we do our best to go out of our way to make sure everybody's MINI experience is awesome! The hundreds of NAM members and other Motorers that have purchased MINI's from Classic around the country can vouch for that! Thanks so much everyone for your referrals and testimonies! I feel like I'm part of a family here! Thanks so much!

Parts Dept

I didn't purchase my MINI at Classic, but I purchase my OEM parts at Classic over the web. This week I bought three oil filters and a new oil drain plug at very reasonable prices. I worked with Paul Pennington, who as soon as he got my name, looked me up on his computer and instantly knew everything necessary about me and my MINI. I told him three oil filters and a drain plug, and two days later they were UPSed to my house. Very easy, very polite, very nice. Simple and efficient.

I'll put in another vote for Mike Snyder. Just picked up my wife's car on Saturday and he was by far the most helpful salesman of any that we dealt with at 7 dealerships (not all Mini). Very friendly and very knowledgeable but in no way pushy.

Parts Department

I have been dealing strictly with Jayson and Classic MINI since I discovered them on NAMo over a year ago.

Always a quick reply to emails and quick shipping. When the wrong item was sent, the exchange / return procedure was a breeze. Return of a core axle was quick and easy.

I'll always come back for this kind of customer service.

Thanks.

So, is there more than one Classic Mini? Mike Snyder of msnyder@driveclassic.com is a great MA. They are located in Willoughby Hills, OH. Bill sold us our first and Mike sold us our second mini. We are eagerly waiting for its arrival!

We started working with Tim Horvath at Classic Mini ...
He took us both out me/wife on test drives on clubmans both regular and S
Absolutely no pressure or anything gave great information (even though I was pretty well versed on them)
When we went to close the deal (Wednesday before X-mas) Tim was Off ...
Mike Snyder stepped in and worked us the deal and we drove home in the new 2010 Clubman ...
