MFSW retrofit

Hey all, I posted earlier today about this but though i may as well stick it in the Classic's forum in case they had something to add before I start harassing the parts and service people there:smile: . I have an '05 MCS and have decided that my earlier decision to not get the MFSW wheel wasn't so good after all. From my earlier post i have learned that a retrofit is possible with earlier cars (two spoke wheel) but i'm curious if it can be done to mine. I'm not too concerned w/cost right now, just if its possible and what sort of labor is involved. Thanks.

It should be doable.

All the stuff in the cars now uses digital information busses. So you should be able to add the wheel, and have a Mini service place "turn on" the features. But this is a wild ass guess, as I haven't tried myself....
