Talk about GREAT customer service...

and this from someone that DIDNT know about Classic in time to order her MINI... So I decided that Samantha needed a full toggle bank and a Euro Parcel Shelf... So off I went to Niello to order these parts. (Now you are wondering what I am doing in the Classic section...) According to Niello, they are NOT MINI parts... Well thanks to NAM, I learned that Classic offers the shelf as a freebie to NAM members... So I took a chance and called Classic one day and had the part numbers for both parts in a few seconds! Man was Niello MAD when they learned that I could do something that they couldnt!

Thanks Classic for your AMAZING customer service.
My next MINI will be from you!

Could you clarify the "Classic offer the shelf as a freebie to NAM members?"

Can someone clarify if this is true? I was in the showroom and you'd think if that were the case all of the cars would have it installed. I'd like it if they did and would like to print this thread when I go get mine in a few weeks.

I purchased one from them, along with a bunch of other goodies, great service and parts prices

It was certainly NOT free nor could they afford to give it away

Julie was TOP SHELF to work with when my mom decided to order an MCSc. Excellent service and very quick delivery, I always recommend Classic MINI to everyone, for good reason too; they're great

Julie threw in a set of rubber mats for free too, awesome

Thanks again Julie [hugs!]

I'm going into Classic tomorrow night. My parents know Mike Kost and I'm friends with his brother. My dad is just curious about what I'm getting. He even went out and bought "The Italian Job"... I don't think he's ever shown interest in a car I've owned as much as this. (Well there was that 78 Caprice Classic that leaked oil on his driveway. He used to check each morning to see that I put the cardboard in the correct location to keep the drive way oil spotless.)

I want him to drive one to see how fun they are, although his bad hip wouldn't allow him to drive a 5 or 6 speed. We'll see tomorrow. I will definately ask about "NAM Stuff" and will hopefully get some freebies (Hell for +$25,000.00 the least they can do is include floor mats.)

Are you sure it wassn't the glovebox organizer that they were talking about? The parcel shelf is about $75.00 to purchase.
