This CD is GREAT

OK...maybe I'm a dork

I've been a classic owner for only 15 months, but I just got my CD of 'Original Technical Publications' by Heritage Motor Centre that I ordered from MiniMania. As far as I'm concerned it has already paid for itself....
  • Do not use choke when starting a warm engine - seems to me I once read here if your engine would start w/out using the choke your carb must be set wrong...in 90 degrees ambient should choke be req'd? mine isn't
  • At normal operating temps, oil pressure should be 50 to 60 lb, with 15 lb at idle. I always wondered and got worried when my pres' dropped off at idle after things were up to temp...looks like I'm solid!
  • Maximum heat is when the heater knob is IN. I've always assumed something was wrong with this...but damn, it's right.
I'm SO looking forward to what I'll find tomorrow!

Great reference....highly recommended

I agree. I purchased the MK I, II cd for my Wolseley.

Lots of great info. If you have a Classic Mini this is a must have.

Cheers,
Jack

Nice Woolsely!

I have a penchant for atypical cars (Clubman/Riley/Woolsely)....
