air cleaners for SU Carburetors

Anyone have suggestions for air cleaners to replace the short velocity stacks on my 1275 with dual H2 SU's? The K and N set up at Mini Mania doesn't fit(the filters interfere with each other when placed on the carbs).

Mini Sport

Mini Sport catalog shows they sell a kit of twin HS2's, carbs manifold filters everything - there's a pic on pg 42 of their 2005 catalog of the kit. The pancake filters they have in the kit are listed for 9.95 pounds each on pg 43. Unfortunately there is no part number (thank the Brits) and I can't find the particular filter on their web page WWW.MINISPORT.COM

But they do say "can't find it? Contact us"

They do also have on pg 44 a Pipercross filter Twin SU kit - part # pcfc5011/c502d - for 94.95 pounds

(today 1lb = 1.85 us dollars)

looks like they have a $40 pair or a $200 pair - plus shipping

{I find the Mini Sport catalog to be a great reference.....even if I sometimes use the part number just to help me speed up the ordering process fm Mini Mania....no, i don't work 4 'em}

I would talk to Dave at APT - he is in the same parking lot as K&N and can hook you up with offset conical K&N filters if that is what you want.

But I believe the best of the best at the moment is the Calver Special Tuning / ITG filters
