New Toy, Registered and Ready for Fun

Hey Everyone,

Finally got around to posting some pictures of my new toy on here. Picked the car up last winter and completed the work on it during the summer while I was home from college. Let me know what you all think!

Before:

After:

Currently looking for another classic mini project. A solid shell with no motor or subframes would be great. Please let me know if anyone know of anything out there. Thanks.

Very nice. If you hav'em, let's see some photos under the hood. Looks like you were pretty busy over your summer.

Very nice, I believe the correct color would be magenta.

What did you do for engine and mods, stock 998?

The Color is "Hot Magenta Pearl"

Engine is a 1380 w/ a Downdraft Weber,

Under the hood is still a little rough, i'll grab some pictures next time I am home, Car is back in CT, I'm at Clarkson in Upstate New York.

No one out there knows where a mini shell is sitting waiting for a new life?

Here' a couple more pictures of it:

fossjw-

Don't know of any "barn find" type of shells out there, but if you are looking for restored shell, ready to paint and assemble, MiniTec has a shell with Zeemax body kit for sale. I don't know if their sale is contingent upon purchasing their Vtec conversion--but might be worth a look. www.superfastminis.com

Also... nice to see your Magenta mini monster out there on the track!
