I'm in the process of wiring up the wiper motor and wiper switch on my custom wiring for my '73 MK3 Austin Mini. Can someone please confirm the switch functionality? I believe it is:
UP: off (parked)
MID: low speed
DOWN: high speed
Where UP refers to the rocker switch being clicked UP to the highest position, MID being in the next position down, and DOWN being clicked to the lowest switch position.
I would normally be able to tell from looking at the schematic (which I have), but it appears the wiper motor internals are tightly coupled to the wiper switch and I don't know the wiring inside the wiper motor.
Mine is a '79 Mini 1000 - UK RHD. Wiper arm is down position off and then 2 positions up from there - a standard speed (mid) and high speed (upper). There is a single wipe (mist) when the lever is pressed down that is spring return to the off position.
