Just bought one of the Harbor Freight two-tone air hornes and I wonder where people mounted the trumpets? It looks like I can hse the RH side air duct shroud, but that's just plastic. Please post pics and whatever advice you may have - thanks!!

there was never collected water and the install on a NA Miata was facing down. The reed was just cheap metal. On the last set I tried changing to horizontal and routinely spritzing a lil WD in the horns with no better results....
They were cheap so no big deal except I usually found out they'd crapped out when I really needed them.....
Mine were on the left hand side of the firewall, kinda above the clutch housing. I can look for a pic tonight and post tomorrow. (Don't have internet at my new house till the end of the month.)
I used one these "Bad Boys" instead. Compact self-contained dual tone airhorn that fits and mounts right where the OEM horn is and can be heard in the next county.
a matched pair ... hi/lo .... sounds like a Mack truck. I tucked 'em in the wheel well on the right side, up high (I avoid rain btw) and yes I used the provided relay .....
I installed a one piece compact air horn on the Miata about a year b4 I sold the car ... as far as I know it still works (I know the buyer of the car) and that would be about 3 years now. The WoLo from Harbor Freight appears to be a knock off of the Steble Nautilus horn I used... http://www.stebel.it/stebel/index2009.htm
I did not find this to be as melodic as the true air horn or 'better' than the matched Hella's altho I AM considering installing a set of air horns on a sep' switch for the fun factor....
I knew a guy with a '29 doctors coupe Rolls' ... he had a set of 5 air horns that played a bar from Captain Boogie March ala Bridge Over the River Kwai!
The "Bad Boys" horn fit into the space for the stock horn assembly? Really? See - I like that idea. A lot. I was planning on using the stock horn wiring as the power source for the relay so...
Got a pic?

That's great - thanks!!! Did you have to fab up a bracket or anything to mount it there? That's a great location - I've seen those horns advertised but had no idea if they were very good/loud.

I had mine mounted in the engine compartment on the transmission housing, but I installed some other goodies and now it's too crowded. Looks like I may be installing in the right wheel well.
