What classic Mini sites do you regulary visit?

Ok, I'm not cheating on NAM ;)

But what sites do you guys regularly visit to find information about your classic Mini? Seems like there are a MILLION sites, but alot of them are Euro, and when it comes to ordering parts.......that makes it tough

So what do you guys regularly visit, find info, etc

If you're looking to order parts you can go to www.gbcarparts.com or www.minispares.com. Mini Spares is british but their prices are cheaper and the shipping to the states isn't that bad.

MOALA.org, minimania.com, 16vminiclub.com, 7ent.com, minisport.co.uk, heritagegarage.com, vintageminiracing.com

Just depends on what I'm looking for. For parts I try to check the UK sites to see how much the US prices are in relation. Yes, I know the US folks have to ship stuff to them first, but hell...if I can order it cheaper from the UK and have it shipped to me why not?

What classic Mini sites do you regularly visit?

If you are looking for information on classic mini's, the best site I have seen is the Mini Cooper Register out of the UK. They have a monthly magazine with articles submitted by people who own and/or restore classic mini's, and have lots of information about the history behind the Mini, up to and including the BMW Mini. They have a forum similar to NAM that has world-wide coverage. MC2 magazine (sorry NAM) also does articles on classic mini's.

um, last I checked, miniusa didn't have that much info on classic Mini's. NAM is a huge site so it's not difficult to forget that all the references to Mini's in this section belong to the pre-BMW Mini. You know, those really small, cute cars.

Most popular Classic Mini message forum in the USA is the Mini Mania Forum. The best tech website for Classic Minis in the USA is http://coopertune.com/forum/ . If you want to get on the phone and speak with someone who is with the group with the most Classic Mini experience there is http://http://www.7ent.com/

For carbon fiber parts I think RogueSe7ens.com seems to take care of the US, though last time I checked he is still working on the site. He has also recently started a forum for 'retro cars' that has a section specifically for the classic mini, I'm just waiting for that to start rolling.

Already mentioned - theminiforum.co.uk, and ausimini.co.au, and to a lesser degree turbomini.com and mini mania, uk and usa. The first two have some really knowledgeable people and many of the foreign specialists and gurus frequent those sites. there really are a mindboggling abmount of sites out there.
