have anyone put a new mini cooper sunroof on a classic mini and does it fit...

The dual pane barely would fit length wise its 31"x48". The length gets you to where the back part of the roof begins to drop off . The real problem would be the curvature. The new minis roof is fairly flat while the classic's roof has a pretty nice arch to it. Not to mention that the classic would handle like a jeep cause it would be top heavy.

Or you could be on the lookout for a proper Webasto folding sunroof... If you ever go to Mini swapmeets or British Car shows, you'll often find one in somebody's parts booth. I know *I* want one.
