Fortunately, it isn't that cold in this part of Alaska right now. It has been in the 40's lately. It will probably be in the 30s by the time Halloween comes around, though.

Ola, Ola, Ola... I've got TONS OF LOVE for you... Which is why I think you should come up via Middle TN and visit here BEFORE you go off to MSSD. Since Mr. Hal isn't going either, maybe we could do a MINI mini meet & greet (which I think would be MMMG before the MSSD).
This last trip was NAM free... no mini friends were met, something to do with Big Freddy intimidating the mini's!

Yeah... and I could make it even more exciting by taking a boat to go see Mr. Alaska FIRST and then troll my way up to the Pacific Northwest to see RG & RJ (maybe see Kiki somewhere too?) swing through PA to see Cab and Gem then make my way to see you and Hal.
All I can say is too bad you guys are going to miss out on a cool trip with UHOH and ME.

Long story short it's a doctor and he wants 3 grand for the car the pictures show the car on a brick drive so I figure yeah he has a new toy he need s to make room for so the the mini is going out the door .
I think this is too good to be true the car is worth more then twice that
He sends me a ebay invoice , but wait ..... the legit looking ebay invoice is asking me to pay with moneygram and not paypal the company owned by ebay ...... So it's all a scam Call him up and say the only way I can pay for the car is with cash in hand and the keys to the car ..He never calls back to give me the Address... what a Bummer ....Lookin at the extra pictures he sent I see a berry and smitt's sighn in the background i google it and it is a classic car garage in the Netherlands

I've got a great idea, why don't the East Coast Freebies trek across the US to the PNW, pick up the other Freebies along the way, once you get to the PNW I'll join the FUN, we'll head up to RG's place, from there we'll take a (real) Cruise up to Kodiak and say "HI!!" to Mr. Alaska??!! I say we should wait for the Spring Thaw, but wouldn't it be a BLAST!!

On another subject, my cousin is having a surprise part the same day as the PM christmas part!!! oh what to do, what to do??? My cousin and i are really close and I told her I would help out with what ever she needs (I'm the queen of Baked Ziti) just didn't know it would be on the same day!!!
I am at a loss, I really want to do the PM party!!! HELP!!!

Wow,, that is a bummer, seems like between the rainy weather and surprise events coming up that we aren't getting to do much on the PM scene....maybe you could do the Deck the Minis first then go to the party after? I am assuming that the surprise party is in the evening? Make the Ziti the day before?

I was thinking the same thing, go to the PM thing first then go to the party, but from what i remember from last year, the pm party lasted pretty late. OH i'm so selfish, I want to do the MINI thing!!! I'm a terrible person and hubby is right, I'm obsessed!

I read last night there are over 90 ships wrecked in the area we will be docked. I told hubby I would wait in the boat if he wanted to dive, he hasn't decided yet.

Hi everyone. Or I guess I should say g'nite!
So I worked on my trim pieces but we didn't have the right clips AGAIN so they are only PARTLY attached. I've got to go to bed. Have to take the car in for service tomorrow. They want me there EARLY!! I'm hoping that they might have some clips there so I can finish my trim. I really don't want to go with the hot glue option and duct tape will look like crap.
I wish there were indoor car wash places around here... I mean, REALLY...they make indoor pools, and indoor playgrounds, ....WHY can't they make indoor car washes!?!? It's so cold outside when i DO get a chance to wash the MINI, that it's nearly impossible to do a decent job.
Back to the grindstone this morning. Did lots of puttering this weekend. My grandmother had a lot of Hummels, but the ones I offered to "take" (actually "buy" off of her estate to help augment health care funds for her) aren't worth much. China and Thailand. But they're the snowy/Christmas type, so easy to decorate with during my favoritest season.
and he married me anyway!!!
I'll have to stop in KS for a while. And I may not be able to go the whole way... Maaaaan....This would be SO fun!
