Howdy Freebies! Hmmmm... Ola on the road with a naughty troll, eh? And meeting up with Hal and UhOh?! Phew! If I hadn't just gotten off the road, I'd be tempted to go back over to the Dragon just to chaperone...
Cabby, I don't collect pigs, I rescue them. Actually, I'm now just fostering pigs that aren't mine- but I have 12 of my own that I've rescued over the years- one from a bbq pit (my first), a couple that had been dumped on a vet during their spay/neuter operation, a few that had been dumped on different farms (like people dump dogs and cats), 4 that were babies being raised for a freezer (it's illegal in TN to slaughter pot bellied pigs)... one that was dumped at animal control and housed next to a couple of dogs that were involved in organized dog fighting... you get the picture... The sanctuary I work with, Shepherd's Green in Cookeville (www.9sites.com) has over 400 pot bellied pigs that have been abandoned or rescued. There's been an epidemic due to "toy", "teacup" &/or "mini" pig breeders who claim that their pigs only get to 30 pounds. It's a load of crap. I promise...

Gem, I don't remember the exact name of the mini rally/run but Ola is going on the Mini Dragon thingy,, the one that Hal is going on and maybe Uhoh?

I'm sure glad it isn't just a few degrees colder or we would have had to days of snow and another 2 more days coming.
It has turned very cold and rainy about Wednesday and hasn't let up at all!
