Buckeye BMW Chapter Mid-Ohio Driving School

Invitation from the Buckeye BMW Chapter - Open to all MINI owners who can make it to Mid-Ohio!

The Buckeye Chapter of the BMW Car Club is having two driving schools this year. Both are at Mid-Ohio. This is a fantastic track and we are just counting the days.

We see a number of Mini Coopers at our schools and we hope to increase their attendance. This year we are offering the school to Mini Cooper Club members and Audi Club members at the same cost as Buckeye BMW Chapter members. Also this year, we are offering a dinner at the hotel on Sat night --- good time to talk cars etc.

We see a number of cars besides BMWs. It is a friendly atmosphere to all -- hey we are all car nuts.
Please note that these are schools and not races. We typically have 4 run groups and students should expect to have 3 on track sessions on Saturday and 3 on track sessions on Sunday. Each session lasts approx 25 minutes. So thats six on track sessions -- 2.5 hours on the track. A real blast. It usually takes about a week to wipe the smile off my face. All students will have instructors who will help with braking, cornering, "the line", etc. Also there is classroom where we talk/teach the same concepts.

Registration for our August school is 19 June:
The easiest way to register is to use the direct link below:
http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/event.advert?uidEvent=475C4B28-FE35-1E20-4A8BE0B1A7CC0D91

You should also visit the Buckeye BMW chapter website (http://www.buckeyebmwcca.org/) where there is info on hotels, maps, directions, tech forms, etc.

You can also register through our website by clicking on "Drivers School" and then clicking on the event. That will take you to the same place as the link above.

Hope to see you and your friends at the event(s)

PRICE!
From Ken with the Buckeye BMWCCA:

For Buckeye BMW Chapter members, Mini Club members and Audi Club members the cost is $395 for the weekend (Sat and Sun).

Non members cost is $425.
Dinner Sat night at the hotel is $20.

So, as MINI club members, they are giving us the $395 price. According to Ken, this is for any MINI owner no matter what club you are in.
