Is it automatic, with a metal "guider?" I would steer clear of everything if it were me...I hand wash mine. No recycled nasty soapy water, scratches, and damaged parts for me! Better safe than sorry.

I don't know anything about the particular car wash they have in Sharonville, so I certainly wouldn't say anything bad or good about it, but before you try it out, I would recommend that you check to see if it is the sort of carwash that uses recycled water. I work for the Cincinnati Water Works, and I know that we require the same backflow prevention devices for the car washes with "collection pits" as we do for mortuaries, chemical companies, etc. because that recycled water; even though they do have some sort of filtering, contains so many toxic contaminants we can't risk any of it entering the public water supply. So even if it's a "touchless" car wash that won't leave swirl marks in your paint, make sure it isn't one that recyles their water. I know, I know, how "non-green" of me; but think about it - do you want your precious MINI taking a bath in USED bathwater...?
I'm still anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Clubman, but I'm expecting my husband and I to feel the same way as we do about our Miata, in that it is a labour of love to wash & wax it, and a good way to do a close personal inspection of the whole surface.
