Dinner and a Movie 11/18 - Casino Royale @ AMC Cantera 30
Come join us for dinner and movie! A few of us are planning to meet down in Warrenville (western burbs) to watch the new James Bond movie on 11/18 at the AMC Cantera 30. We're planning on eating at the Red Robin (located at the theater lot).
Where: At the theater parking lot
Food/Ticket Meetup Time: 3:00PM - 3:30PM Movie Meetup Time: 5:30PM Movie Start Time: 6:45PM
I'm on reconnaissance ~ the gnome-torious Liam will be joining our MINI's at some point (Chicago?Montrose?Woodfield?) and we're game for some cruisin.. (Sheridan? burbs?) Anyone else interested? Routes you'd like to suggest before dinner & we find out how James became "Bond"... James Bond?!!
If you can recommend some other place, please mention it.
Perhaps dinner in downtown Naperville, there are several good resturants within walking distance of the parking garage, where you could line up the MINIs for a photo op and since it is a public parking lot no security guards to try and crsh into you! (but it is under video survalence so no horse play) Crowds aren't that bad after Labor Day.
Not sure if I can make this one.. especially if we're meeting the next day... I'll pencil it on the calendar for now.

If time is an issue... how about skip the predrive (which may or maynot be long) and join us for dinner & movie... or just movie?!! Def more the merrier! This group is flexible!!
Dancing on the fence, really want to but with a second meet the next day I'm not yet 100% sure. I think it's going to be a day of decision for this one, but I'm a definate for Sunday's meet.

I'm planning on seeing the Bond flick with my Dad and two brothers (sort of a tradition) up here on Saturday as well. Hope you enjoy the movie and whatever MINI stuff you do besides! :D
If anyone is interested in a bit of predinner/Bond fun, our two MINIs will be heading south from the NW burbs (around 11:45) down 53 to tollway> Cicero shortcut>>57 and stop at the Bakers Square* in Matteson (30/57 intersect) for a 12:45-1:00 convergence with ucanhavmycake & Liam!
We are going to head west on 30 to Joliet, N on 53, past the prison, W on Royce Rd and then, depending on time, some other fun roads before meeting Paul at the theater lot by 3:30.
If we are early, we will attempt some funkhana fun.

There were some comments about exotics after the movie, this was one of my recent spotting this week.
In downtown Barrington a few nights ago! I was taking pictures of the MINI across the street when I spotted thins so naturally I had to go get a photo.
