Chicago MINI Driving Group is happy to announce a monthly gathering at local fun restaurants.
This monthly meeting is designed to give MINI Drivers in all parts of Chicagoland a place to meet every 3 months. It was not my thought that each of you would drive to each monthly W1W. I understand that traffic is always an issue and would be outrageous to ask you in Naperville to drive to Lake Villa on a Wed night during rush hour or even Woodfield for that matter. We hope to see more new faces that live near the 3 different meeting locations.
Starting at 6:30 on the 1st Wed of each month to enjoy time with MINI friends and food. Any questions feel to post below or send me a PM.

Yes we did try this at the dealers, but many of you told me you wanted to go back to the restaurants.

OK, I know it's winter and the Jan W1W did get wet. We still had a good time.
The Feb meeting is coming up and I hope to see more of the "southern" MINI's there at Jacobs. Please post below if you plan to make it. Details are still in the 1st post. Hope to see you there.
It's March 1st Hope to see more of you at Patrick this Wed night. Due to the slow start of this years W1W whoever comes Wed night plan on going across the street for dinner after hanging out with Team Patrick and seeing the fully stocked show room.

Hello Everyone, we need your feed back for this event. We know the winter was nasty and that limits activity but I have also heard from some of you that you'd like to meet at a area restaurant. Since CMDG is all about you we will change it if that's what more of you would like to do.
On the table, meet on the rotation in the same basic areas, just move from the service shops to restaurants. Please let me know if that would be more in fav of doing that type of monthly event.
D....I will work to do some recruiting. I know for our area, we have alot of MINI owners. I will see if I can peak their interest.

I can't eat gluten and I don't eat meat but this excites me!!
Since I'm Fun-employed I can make recruitment fliers for wind shields if you want. I used to have a stack of MINI faux citations from an old issue of Maxim or something. I would put them on people's wind shields, hide, and watch them freak out until they read it and laughed. And then I would emerge from the bushes victorious, having earned my laugh badge for the day.

The motoring citation is juuuust about finished. It would be brilliant if we could post it somewhere on a website for each individual to download and print (its double sided, just like the real thang).
Shirts somewhere down the road would be fun. And I know all about those
I will most likely stop by the Aug. event...my brother may be in tow, he's coming in from Maui and is at the mercy of my car/ wandering gypsy ways.

This sounds awesome! I just stopped in at Glenn's earlier today and talked about mini's for about half an hour (what an awesome guy!) and he mentioned you Dustin and that you live in Round Lake. I couldn't believe it! Its amazing that an awesome vendor AND an awesome shop are both in the town i've grown up in all my life! woohoo!
BTW expect some large purchases soon I'll be looking for some recommendations on exhausts and fuel injectors on Wed.!
