WHY did you get a MINI or Mini? Worked related accident that required me to give up my two wheel riding days.
WHAT part of town will you be seen in? Lake County

I already have blacked out all the chrome - badges, door handles, side markers, joey modded lights, beltline, gauge faces, tails, tints, flat black stripes; M7 CAI; M7 STB; M7 16% S/C pulley; Alta 0% light weight crank pulley; Invidia Exhaust; Custom black & grey argyle dash with a matching gas cap; Satin black mirrors; Satin black scoop; Stubby antenna In the future plan on M7 coilovers and currently waiting for my vanity plate "NO CROME"

WHY did you get a MINI or Mini? I love driving. It's not just getting from point A to B or saving gas.
WHAT part of town will you be seen in? Bartlett to Hoffman Estates mostly - weekends all over the state and cruises up to WI for giggles
WHAT types of events would you likely be involved in? Cruises. Cruises. And more cruises.
(BTW Mine is a 2005 S and my hubby has one too - his is blacked out with red accents!)

Where does the list begin: M7 SC pulley, M7 STB, M7 air difusor, M7 understrut brace, M7 lowering springs, M7 catch can, M7 oil cooler with oil pressure and oil temp gauge read out, M7 injectors, M7 cosworth head, head studs, and head gasket. Custom made 10% oversized crankshaft pulley. JCW programming, adjusted by a Kentucky Resident.... Electric water pump, Schrick HO cam, larger exhaust rockers, Miltek Cat-back exhaust. MINI factory Volt and Boost gauge, Factory Alarm, GP Cooper S coil, Dinan plug wires, Alta 25MM rear solid sway bar, Solid front control arm bushings, Alta adjustable rear end links for sway bar, Alta rear adjustable rear control arms, upper and lower. JCW polished Wheels, Clear bumper trim sidemarkers, Clear LED taillights. And Last but not least, the Blue underbody neon kit!!

WHAT part of town will you be seen in? It's like playing Where's Waldo... You name the town, I've probably been there recently!!!! -- If you've seen the IL plate 'S RICH S', you've already seen the a$$ end of me.... I don't run a front plate [ha-ha!!]

WHY did you get a MINI or Mini? I got my first one cause i was sold after a test drive, and i couldnt get anything else after i totaled that one, so i got another one

Just bought my brothers Pure Silver 03' MCS off of him this past month. I'm not exactly sure on all of the options but it has pretty much everything except a GPS and XM radio in it. So far I have put a Typhoon Intake on it and plan on upgrading the the underdrive pulley to a 15% or 17%(not sure yet) next. The car was actually his wifes who surprisingly did an excellent job of taking care of it. The car has 85,000 miles on it and had the entire engine cleaned out before purchase. I've wanted to own one of these cars since the day my brother bought his and he let me take it for a test drive, I felt like I was "piloting" instead of "driving." I also loved how well it handled and how easy it was to get around in the city. You'll typically see me in my Silver Mini around the Mundelein area as well as the Chicagoland area since I drive to work in the northwest side of the city and make field calls for IT support around the whole Chicago area. I joined this site to gain more knowledge about this fine automobile and meet fellow Mini Owners. I would definately love to check out autocross and weekend events along with group rides and tech talks. Further down the road I could see myself doing a track day, but that will have to wait till I upgrade the wheels and suspension on the car.
Whats up guys, I'm actually a Eastern Iowa MINI driver but next weekend i will be invading the Chicago land for the bears/titans game. going to be staying with my cousin somewhere in Chi-town some where... sooo if you see a dark silver MINI S with a driver waving crazily its just me, wave back!! hope to see some out and about, happy motoring.
