My name is Ross and I am an assistant organizer for http://www.minicooper.meetup.com/184 We are getting this area organized to enjoy all our Mini stories pics and knowledge. NAM was cool enough to let us link up together so we can grow. Currently we have about 9 owners in the Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, York, and Carlisle area coming together. PLEASE STOP BY OUR SITE AND JOIN!!!! It's free and it wil help me keep all of us organized.
I will be printing up "Spotter Cards" hopefully for the next meeting to hand out. Just to give you a little backround about me...
My fiance and I just bought our 2004 Silver w/ offset black stripe (soon Union Jack side mirrors...due to its too cold to put them on) in July. I drove it for about 5 min and said " So where do I sign?" It's been history since.
Gotta love all these twisty back roads! I think my Fiance thinks I am now fully obscessed with our Mini.... She's absolutely right! Well take a moment and introduce yourself to the group and We hope to see you all at the next meeting! DON'T FROGET STOP BY AND SIGN UP!!! so we can send you updates and keeep you in touch. Just wanted to extend a friendly southernly welcome to your new group. I've got a friend in the Newville area that I visit a couple times a year. I try to make it a point of getting together with fellow MINI owners while I'm up in the area (been on a couple drives sponsored by PhillyMINI's over the past couple years). Hopefully I can time one of my trips to meet up with you guys in the future. Enjoy the motoring!

It is fast approaching the end of 2007 and what a first year for Carlisle Mini!
We have grown from 3 to almost 30... not too shabby
This year has been the learning curve and we have a much better plan for 2008! Rally's... Mountains to the beach, The turns to JIM THORPE, we will join up on "Jim Thorp Run" "Drive in night" and many many more to come...
I would like to that everyone at NAM for all of their help and sugestions to keep us going! You guys Rock... We are having the 1st annual GROUP SHOT of 2007 at the next meeting on DEC 1st at the Elephant & Castle Pub @ 11am. We hope to see everyone and ANYONE! I will be working on a news letter to post and I will also be uploading photos to the Gallery soon (my bad). Again you don't have to just live in the area to join up come and join so we can keep you up to date and hopefully see you all soon at one of the meetings. As I said before I will be updating allot here on our NAM link soon, so keep an eye out for new stuff to come!
