Greetings from the lovely village of Newcastle, Ontario.
and a shout out to all the Mini drivers out there cruzin' the 401.
I bought my car in August of 2006, a sweet lil' ride i named Roxy, and i've been smilling ever since. One thing i have noticed about Mini drivers...they get IT...don't ask me what IT is, because i can't explain IT. IT just IS...ask any Mini driver and they will know what i'm talking about.
See you on the streets...I'll be the guy with a perma-grin on his face.

Hello from Whitby, Ontario.
Got a 2006 Cooper ,SOHO, in Chili Red with a white roof back in September and had a great time driving it through the New England states on out to NS and the Cabot Trail in mid October. What a fun drive. I never thought I would enjoy 6 or 8 hour drives, but man I sure do now!!!
Wave if you see me.
Just picked up Dec. 06, Montreal
MC/SOHO Hyperblue, black roof, sure appreciate the heated seats this week. Trying to keep her out of the slush but I enjoy the drive so much I have taken her out in the snow and muck, just like candy, cant resist..

Hello from Chilliwack, B.C.
We've had our 2006 abut 9 months and we've had zero problems-I love this car! My wife is the main driver. I drive the 4x4 pickup to work, my prized 'monster' Miata on the weekends, and the MINI is our 'main' vehicle, unless we're going to Costco.
We've only done two upgrades since taking ownership. The first was Oakley seat covers (leatherette in the summer!!!), and the second was the blinking rear center brake light.
Update: I have moved to St. Louis, Missouri. Been here about 6 months now, getting married in 2 weeks, and we get our house next week. No, I did not miss winter in Winterpeg
Hello, Dave from Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Can't wait until the snow's gone so a guy can cruise the car shows and draw a crowd! Hope to see many more Albertan MINI owners around.

Congrats,
How is it in th snow? I have a cottage up in the laurentians and the driveway is inclined, not steep but still. I am used to drive quattro cars but I have become 'obsessed' with the Mini since I test drove one. The dealer tells me it is oustanding but I am skeptical.
Never bothered getting winter tires so it's been in the garage most of the time, only 5K since December. Did take it to Ottawa the other week, got one hec of a surprise on the 417 at speed. Hit a large patch of water with the left front and it almost pulled the steering from my hand, the good and the bad of direct response as related to the steering.
