Driving a 2005 Cooper S in hyper blue with a white roof, JCW CF mirror caps, CF splitter, 17" R99 anthracite, 16% M7 pulley, M7 springs, and that's about it for now
I'm Al from Edmonton, bought my new MINI S Convertible on eBay with only 61 miles on the clock and drove it home, 1250 miles trip last weekend and now it's on blocks awaiting for my PSS9, should be here tomorrow and will install the new suspension with the new wheels and F1 GS-D3 tires.
My car is black on black with chrome 5 spokes and I love it, as for mods, Cosworth stage 2 is on my mind after selling my Cosworth Vega 2 weeks ago, I think the only good thing on that Vega was the Cosworth Head but the MINI is the best toy I ever owned so adding what I consider the best to it will make me like it even more.

That is indeed remarkable! There must be a law of conservation here at work. I've been in the US now for almost 3 years, so there's probably 2 more people like you lurking in Canada somewhere.
Canadian TV is rather unique... with the proximity to the US, you might expect more infiltration of American stations. What we Canadians lack in stiff penalities for criminals, we more than make up for in media content control!
What I miss is how calming Canadian TV is. It relaxed me... US TV over-stimulates me, especially the ads. Ah, the free enterprise system.
Your signature pic looks like it was taken in a grassy field somewhere near Houston... or is it Canadian grass? Canadian ragweed? Cross Canadian Ragweed?

That's Texas blue bonnets shot in Austin. I like that picture. Canada does have nice grass! Where in Texas are ya?

Oops, forgot the specs..'03 Cooper S, custom door graphics, Madness CAI, 17% pulley, Iridium plugs, ALTA stubby, PIAA ION Fog lights, H-Sport Rear Anti-sway bar. Soon....ALTA Sportone exhaust, Unichip, and lowering springs. On the horizon.....M7 DFIC Intercooler and USS.
Nope.......had my company ship that bad boy up here! ahahaha I'M NO AGGIE! ahahaha.........What are you doing there? School?....
OMG...what is this thing you called cold! And why is it comming so soon here in calgary. HELP!
I teach at A&M, engineering. It's tenure-track, so if I make it at the sixth year mark, I'm an Aggie for life
Are you by any chance in the oil biz? That Houston/Calgary connection seems kinda telling. Have they beaten the petrol out of that sand yet?!
Yeah, isn't the climate difference staggering? It was so freakin' hot here the last few months (you know, 95F-105F at peak times). I was missin' the Canadian winter! Except for Vancouver, all of Canada is a deep freeze. You get like eight months of winter, the key is to get into it, I suppose (do the skiing or snowboarding thing). In Calgary, you've got prime skiing around.

I'm in Alberta here, bought my car on eBay, a brand new Convertible from the US, it was won in a Smirnoff contest, saved over $8k Can. after all the travelling expenses deducted to pick it up, it had 61 miles on it and there was no waiting time other than wait for the auction to end (3 Days), and I picked it up a week later, you will not regret this, I had a 91 ZR1 and now own a 95 ZR1 and I like driving the MINI more than the ZR1, who would have thought?
