The MINI Club of Calgary together with MINI Crowfoot have launched the STUFF-A-MINI event to benefit the YWCA Sheriff King and Mary Dover homes. These two homes are shelters for women and children who are fleeing domestic violence.
The event runs from Nov 29 to Dec 20, 2008, the donations will then be transported to the Sheriff King home on the morning of Dec 20.
MINI Crowfoot has provided a Chili Red Clubman in the center of their showroom, (pictures can be seen on the MCC website www.minicalgary.com) as the collection point. We hope this will be a big success so that we can brighten the day for people at the Sheriff King and Mary Dover homes on Christmas morning.
MINI Crowfoot is located at 650 Crowfoot Crescent NW
The MINI Club of Calgary would like to thank all who supported our drive from the YWCA. We managed to fill a clubman and beyond, and let me say, you can fit a lot of stuff in a clubbie!
8 cars showed up in the -26C weather to deliver the toys, it was very heart warming.
