Who from Canada is going to AMVIV this year?

So who else is making the trek to AMVIV this year? There are myself, Dorkboy and Morten from Calgary.

It's looking less and less likely that I will go this year. But according to the AMVIV website, only 2 Canadians are registered so far. Dorkboy and Robertintoronto.

You're not going to win the longest distance travelled to get there though. There are again a couple of Aussies registered.

Oh, that's a bummer (for Robert). The drive there was half the fun. There's nothing like a good long roadtrip....see the world.

I may still go. I have frequent flyer miles I'm looking for ways to use up.

Yeah, but that drive in from Aus is a killer! It's so easy to flood your engine.

I do know of somebody here who got tranferred to Hawaii for 8 months and then back. He shipped his car there and then shipped it back. I think it cost arount $1000 each way.

If our Aussie friends shipped their cars here, that would be a real hoot.
