Well, it's been a long hard slog, but I finally finished all the mods on my '06 JCW Mini Cooper S Cabrio! All of the stuff is factory (JCW Kit, JCW Wheels, etc., etc.), but I'm VERY pleased with it. I've posted the pictures in my gallery.

Very nice! I will have to keep an eye open for you next time I am in the City. I seem to always see at least half a dozen MINIs everytime I go over there. Happy Motoring!

Thank you all for the very kind comments! I really appreciate the feedback.
Some of you have asked questions and here are the replies:
1. Homerwest - you ain't kidding! Momma didn't raise no fool...I'll bet those black wheels will hide tons of brake dust!
2. Gokartride and MINI_Bee: Actually I think there has been some confusion...I don't think I labeled the pictures properly. The wood grain dash is on my 06 Mini Cooper w/JCW Sound Kit. In other words, the carbon fiber dash is on my 06 JCW MCSC and the wood grain is in my 06 MC. They just both happen to be pepper white. And MINI_Bee: No, I think it took the service department about 2 or 3 hours to install that shift indicator light. I really had some reservations about putting it in, but I kind of like it. In my humble opinion, it really doesn't look half bad.
Thanks again for the feedback!
Chuck

Two beatiful MINIs! And I apologize for not getting as excited about the car you posted about, your JCW MCSC, but man, that wood dash and wheel in your MCC are gorgeous! The look of the big, classic speedometer and those round chrome vents in the burl wood dash is just fantastic! Would you mind sharing where you got those bits?

First and foremost, THANK YOU for the very kind comments about my MC. I really appreciate the feeback. I'm sorry I didn't get back to your post sooner, but I've been out of town the last couple of days.
In answer to your question, all of the wood trim in the MC was ordered directly from my MINI dealer. The steering wheel and the dash and the chrome trim are all MINI OEM. Just check out your you-ification catalog and it's all right there!

I was thinking those wood bits were probably OEM, I just hadn't gotten around to checking quite yet. Thanks for the heads-up, Chuck!
BTW, I'm very strongly considering ordering a 2007 MCSC Sidewalk -- just imagine how classic that wood dash would look in it, with those Malt Brown English leather seats! Don't mean to hijack your thread, though -- carry on!
