Reminiscent of the infamous Gumball 3000 of Europe, North East Ohio is having their very own rally!
Next Saturday (June 20th) at noon (I believe) is the start of the Gumball 330 at the Spaghetti Warehouse in Akron. More info is on 330tuning.com's site, I believe!
Please come out and rally... I'd love to see a MINI win it this year! Should be a great time. Hope to see you there!

Well, I've got to say I was disappointed in not seeing any other MINIs attend, but must say it was an INCREDIBLE experience!
The route stretched from the Akron U campus through Akron, Stow and even ran through Cuyahoga National Park.
Tons of fun curves, back country roads and a long day of motoring made this event an absolute blast! My navigator and Japanese-car loving friend and I were completely stunned at how capable the MINI was. I kept up with S2000s, STi's and other much more powerful cars. I definitely got a few stunned looks from some of the other drivers, so it felt great!
330Tuning, the club that put it on, is having a nighttime rally in October. I'll post another topic closer to the time to garner some attention!
After having completed this, I'm curious: is there any interest to do a huge MINI road rally?
