Fellow MINI owners: I need your opinions

Craigslist of Akron/Canton is my weakness. I found a set of 17" black ASA AR1s with new Kumho tires for $500 and bought them. Yesterday, I found my dream wheels: 16" Konig Remembers with Yokohama rubber.

After an hour or two of thinking it over, I drove to Tallmadge and bought them. Now they're on my car... and I'm not sure if I like them or not. So I need your honest opinions: which wheels?

The Konigs:

Uhhhh, the ASA's.

The others need to be 22's if you're going to look that cool...
I think I saw those on a "ghetto buggy" while driving home from the pub on Lakeshore Blvd. in Cleveland.

Just got inside from putting the ASAs back on.

I love the other wheels, but I don't have intentions of lowering the car low enough to really make them look right.

So this thread kind of turns into a for sale thread:

16" Konig Remembers with new tires

They are basically BBS RS replicas (Those would run you $3-4K if you were to buy real BBS RS wheels).

The wheels and tires are brand new. The tires are 3 Yokohamas and 1 Nexen. Despite one being different, they do not pull or cause any vibrations because the tread is very similar.

There is about $1200 in these wheels and tires alone, but I need to get my money out of them quickly, so I'm asking $950.

I think these would look wonderful on a lowered MINI, a VW or an old E30 BMW. Let me know if you're interested! These wheels are hard to find!

For me the black ASA wheels with the polished lip look great on your dark silver.

Those Konig's do nothing for me.

The black ASAs are back on the car and the Konigs are on VW Vortex, Craigslist and maybe on ebay if they don't sell.

I'm sad to see them go and that they didn't work out... but glad I didn't sell my ASAs before I found out!

I was going to suggest getting them painted "stop sign blue". The black wheels look really cool
