Congrats!!! I can't help but ask (assuming you have a manual trans) if you have needed to replace the clutch.

I can answer for Kim. Her MINI is on it's original clutch. Heck her brake pads went something like 70,000. Kim is one of those drivers who is in mechanical sympathy with her MINI.

I understand

that putting white bonnet stripes on a red Mini adds 10,000 miles to the life of the car

Original clutch.. Crashton knows. Only thing not stock now is window motor on driver side, air & oil filters, tail & head lights, exhaust (because the salt from winter made it look ICK), brake pads and rotors - replaced around 75,000 miles (with sensors wires), springs and shocks... cause someone gave me a set off a "S" replaced at around 90,000. At 72,000 my electrical went oops and $500 later new wires and cap. Oh yeah my wheels - I run white, silver and red holies with snow tires from Tire Rack and Continental stock rubber tires in the off season. I will replace battery, plugs and flush anti freeze this summer just for kicks. I have always done the oil change at around 10,000 and wash mini once a week. No crazy mods other then for looks. I LOVE MY MINI!

And what an awesome Mini Rowan is!
It was great to meet you today (I'm assuming it was you today Kim :P )
Horray for 100,000 miles! Daisy's celebrating 23,000 miles ~ she's got a long ways to go. I loved hearing about your trips and visiting other Mini clubs.
Look forward to seeing you again at the next get together.

Mo

I just got back from a 2,525 mile road trip to Florida. No problems. Changed oil this week.
