Tire advice

I need some new tires, but don't want to spend 800 on a set.. Anyone have good advice? I currently have the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS1-D3's and like them, but they have gone WAY up in price.

Thanks!

What size tire are you looking for?
What is the max you want to spend for 4 tires (excluding mount/balance)?

Looking for 215/45/17's. I'll spend 800 if it means GOOD tires, I just would rather not... Thanks!

The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 still seems like a good tire, especially in the 280 UTQC range. I see that Tire Rack has them for $160 each with a $50 rebate on a set of 4 for a total price of $590. That seems like a good deal. Maybe if you take the Tire Rack info to a local tire store, they will match or come close (that is what I do).

Still love my Falken 452's/512's. $400/set, great wear, great all-around tire. I'm on my 3rd set.
