MINI coming to Louisville!!!

If you missed the meeting tonight, you missed a good one! MINI sent PR reps there to announce the opening of the MINI dealer in Louisville. It will be owned by Tafel and located next door to the Benz dealership. Yes.. a BMW product and Mercedes in one spot. How cool!

Fantastic news. More really cool stuff to be announced Alexander + Hughes soon. They'll be posting info here and they've set up a FaceBook page. Stay tuned.

Good for you all!

I miss Louisville. I Graduated from Trinity and moved out to NM several years later.

This is freakin awesome. No more hour and half drives to Cinci.

So who knew that they were going to show up at the meeting? I might have skipped work knowing this.

the june date is just to break ground as they plan on putting up a new building on the corner. the dealership is a done deal but the dates for opening and ground breaking are not yet firmed up. best case would be a guess at dec.

Also, looks like they're trying to plan an event at the St. Joe's car show on June 5-6.

Why would Tafel have to put up a new building? I presumed Mini would move into the old Volvo space. The Mercedes operation doesn't appear to be using that space.

Don't expect a truck anytime soon, but if a SUV fit your needs, then expect one of those in the next couple of years if not sooner.
