May Meeting?

So...

I get the idea that people aren't keen on BJ's. Which is sad for me because I *love* their root beer.

In any case, How bout we try BD's Mongolian Grill on Hurstborne? Good food, and we may be able to get a couple tables pushed together...

The April meeting at BJ's was much better than I had experienced in the past. Anyplace is really OK with me. Are we still doing the 2nd Thurs of the month? Would really like to hear from those who went to the MOTD!

BJ's is fine if people want to do it again. I didn't like the side room tho. I know it gives us "privacy", but I felt it gave the wait staff an excuse to "forget" about us...

I was still thinking second Thursday of the month, but another day is ok with me.

Ok, so next Thursday (5/14) it is.

Where at? I suggest BD's for a change of pace.

I'll get my root beer some other time...

We can always do the Corner Cafe. No one ever complained about the service or the quality of the food at the CC. Bit more pricey than anywhere else we have gone, but you get what you pay for.

They will put us in a separate room if we come as a group, and make sure they have a server scheduled for us. They do get pissed when we commit to a group of 10-12 and only three show up (this happened last year), but I can't blame them.

That's why I was thinking of BD's. Less of a piss them off issue if we only show with a couple people.

I'm fired as temporary coordinator. I cannot make it Thursday. My wife has an awards ceremony that I *must* attend. :(

OK. Who's in for this event? let's get a head count. Per the posts, I count 7. Should we say 6:30 tire kick and 7pm dinner? This will give a little extra time for the traffic to clear out.

Just called BD's. They take reservations. I'll book us a table once I know the final number.
