April dinner meeting at BJ's?

Haven't had a sit down in quite awhile. Can't really call it the April club meeting, since we don't do club meetings anymore, but we could refer to it as a meeting of great minds and cars. Anybody interested in getting together for dinner on April 9, the second Thursday, at BJ's Brewhouse (Oxmor mall, next to ****'s)? Good food, reasonable prices, and great selection of micro-brew beer.

Dinner at 7:00 pm, tire kicking in parking lot at 6:30 pm.

Plenty of time to clear your schedules, get baby sitters, quit your job, etc, and make it to this grand event. I will call and get reservations for the group. They do have a separate meeting room up front, so if it's not booked for a private party (it was the last time we met there), that would be ideal, otherwise, they will sit us down on one table.

I guess I have just obligated myself to log on to this site more often that every couple of months.

As far as I know we could make it unless we have something else planned that I'm not aware of. We've been to BJ's twice and had bad service both times. I'm not complaining or asking for a different spot, just commenting.

Sounds good!
Have to agree with Cigarguy - my last encounter at BJ's was not very congenial. I'm certainly open to giving them a chance to improve, however.

im hoping my mini is finally ready to attend a meet up. i'm almost surprised that people had bad service at bj's. we eat the whenever we can and love it. its never been what id call amazing service but never bad either. we had my girlfriends birthday there with a nearly 20 person group and they were really good to us. it might just be hit and miss.

Middle of next week I will get the latest count and try and reserve the meeting room to your left when you enter the door. Been there alot and never had bad service and never been disappointed in the food either.

I'll be there. Either with Ethan for tire kicking only, or solo and staying to eat.

Ok, I got us booked in what they call the patio, which is the room to your left when you walk in the door. Just say your are with the Mini Cooper group if you come in late, or just join us in the patio.

See you Thursday.

See my thread about Jan/Revolution Mini Works willingness to come to louisville. Good topic for dinner tonight. Off to the Bats home opener.
