Something fell off my car...what is it?

Something fell off our '07 MINI S this evening. I have no idea what it is. (I love my car, but I am completely lost if it's anything beyond oil or tire changing.) What is it? Is it safe to drive until I get it to Cinci?

That is the duct for the power steering fan.

Is your car a convertible?

EDIT: yes, it is safe to drive.

Is the convertible question significant to the part? Is she supposed to drive with the top down or something? BRRRR! It's late. Sorry.

Looks like it should be easy to re-attach with new screws and clips. Partsman, so this is not an original part but a factory design to extend the life of the power steering pump?

The 2007 Cabrio was still a 1st Gen MINI.That's not an R56 part.

It is an original/factory part...MINI started using it in January of '05 on the 1st Gen cars.
