I ended up flying to Cali yesterday and driving the MINI back by myself. Other than the craptastic traffic in Cali, the drive was pretty awesome. I attached some pics from Utah. I will post up again after I put on the springs and other goodies.
I added a DDM intake today and it is awesome. You can hear the blow-off valve in between shifts.
This car is just like driving my classic - except that it is faster, has AC, you can hear the radio and you don't smell like fuel when you get done!! Very fun
These pics of Utah (and the custom painted MINI) are splendid. Trying to get my wife to fly out to see Bryce Canyon/Zion. Great job, Maniac !

Welcome to the wonderful world of the new Mini.
Shop the web - you can probably find a "fuel leak" or "burn'in oil" air freshener for the new car so you'll feel at home.

Very funny. I am putting the new springs on this weekend and I am also having the windows tinted. I was quoted $500 for the complete front end clear bra but I am not sure it is worth it or not...
