New MINI R50 owner in Louisville

Hello Bluegrass MINI Club,
I am a new MINI owner - 8 days and counting.
Picked up an 06 R50 with 20K miles. Love this car.
At some point I'll want to change out the exhaust, wheels, lower it, etc... I'm interested what others have done and how they like the choices they've made.
Do you all go up to Cincinnati for service or to BMW in Louisville? I understand that BMW won't do warranty work.
How many active members are there in the club?
Look forward to meeting you all at a local event in the future.

Thanks.

Congratulations on your new Mini!

Go to Cincy-they are the best, BMW won't do warranty work, but Cincy will drive a loaner car down here for you-no charge, just ask for the valet service.

Haven't lowered mine yet but the mods are in my sig.

Valet

Thanks.
Will the dealer provide Valet service even if I didn't buy it there?

Welcome aboard! The mods on our cars are as diverse as we are. Most of us own R53s (S models) but there are a few R50s in our flock. Hopefully, we'll be having a get together in the near future. Keep your eyes out for that and come see all the MINIs!

I'm not sure about the valet service if you didn't buy from them. I would ask. Either way, Cincy has been really good.
