Saw this article on YahooTravel! and thought every drive looked like a lot of fun . . . in a MINI. Tail of the Dragon is listed. Anyone been on any of the others?

The writeup is all wrong. The "Tail of the Dragon" is the t-shirt shack on the south end. The road itself is called "The Dragon". There are no "switchbacks" on the Dragon, and the photo they have is definitely NOT The Dragon. Makes you wonder about the accuracy of all the others.

This is very fun drive going West because you are on mountain side. The scarry part is coming East because, well, there is a bit of a drop

There is already a thread on this article, here was my response:

Since I live near highway 1 here in California I will attest to that 1000ft drop offs are scary Just will not drive it at night Oh and then the fog sets in
