Anybody interested in a '72 Porsche 914?

A good friend of mine has an old 914 Porsche for sale and he asked me to post a note to our membership and I ask if anybody is interested.

It's a 1972 Porsche 914. It has a 2 liter engine that was put in in '96, I think he said. It drives great, but needs paint, the emergency brake cable needs to be lubricated and new tires. Other than those things, it's in good shape. He has all the records of the work that he has had done on it over the years (he bought it in CA in '82). It has a Sony CD player/radio and good speakers, but he still has the original radio that will go with it at time of sale.

I have never driven it, but I have ridden in it and it was FUN. He's asking $2500. If anyone is interested in it, you can PM me and I will give you his phone number. The car is located in Little Rock.

Later,
Jim

I have placed this as a favor to my friend and have stated what he told me was true and correct about the car. There is no warranty applied and the actual car may need more than he has informed me about, but I do know that he has had several things done to it over the years and I believe the statements to be true.
