trauma at the car wash

I normally wash my car in the front yard, but yesterday I decided to go to the car wash. After I ran over it with the foam brush, I switched to the high pressure spray to rinse it. I noticed the hose had a leak at the top of it, and was just about to turn it off and move to another bay because I was getting wet.. when the thing went crazy, started whipping around, faster and faster.

With visions of a broken windshield and dents all over the car, I grabbed it with both hands.. and some part of it whipped around and hit me in the face!!!

I was afraid to look at the car.. but apparently my face got the brunt of this cartoon like event!

Surprisingly I don't have a black eye, just a small red scrape above my eye, and it feels bruised.

Watch out for those crazy car washes!

Glad you are ok. That sounds wild.

Be cautious of those foam brushes. They can collect contaminants and scratch your paint.

Did you get that on tape, Tess ?

Could earn you some money on AFHV. Or you could be discovered on YouTube !

Seriously... could have been worse, so glad you and the MINI are both A-OK.

I wish!! It really wasn't funny at the time, it pissed me off, especially since there were 2 nice hispanic 'gentlemen' standing there watching the whole thing.. yeah, just watching!

It is funny now of course. I need to go back and tell the guy what happened, maybe save someone else's car.. or eye!
