Gray day+Gray MINI=Grayscale?

Or "I just washed my MINI and I can't do a thing with it and it's gonna rain in a few minutes so I might as well take some pictures".

Pic #2:
I like the way the shrubbery sort of frames your MINI.
The rear tree line sort of throws the horizontal lines off a bit.
Perhaps rotating the image to compensate?

Hey, why not get a pic of your MINI in the rain!

I like them

#3 is interesting since you have the roof in alignment with the fence. Are you positioned on top of the fence on the other side of the road? That's an interesting perspective that looks a little higher than hand held.

Actually, the only reason I originally had the camera and the MINI together was to take a couple pictures of my PROMINI gauge cluster, since I had made a comment about it in another thread. I have the Nav option, and since there doesnt seem to be any pictures available showing the Nav cluster installed, I obliged. Of course, when I return to post the requested pictures, the thread got shoved into VA where I cant post anything.

Here was one of the pictures:

After taking the 'required' interior pictures, I moved the car in front of the house on a whim and started snapping away. The day was a dreary gray, and it was beginning to drizzle, I didnt spend too much time in composition. The 'fence shot' was made by simply standing in the street and holding the camera overhead, framing the shot in the pivoted LCD. Chalk up the perspective to me having gorilla arms.

After looking at the shots, which seemed bland, I took out the color and it gave them an entirely different feel. No other work was done to them. I often forget how much interest can be had in black and white shots. Besides, my car does not look too different in B&W or color!

I should get out and take more pictures just for the hell of it. It's enjoyable.

YES, definitely show us more pictures. I'm eager to see more!

You're right about black and white photographs, they do tend to "feel" different.
In this case, you captured the gray day very successfully.
The trees reminded me of some forest preserves back in Illinois.
